Individuals with urinary problems such as failure to store urine and inability to empty urine or both can face acute or chronic disturbances resulting in infections, impaired bladder function, obstruction of urine outflow, and or inability to control voluntary urination. Urinary tract infections, urinary incontinence, nocturia (waking at night to void), urinary retention and urinary diversions can be managed by assessing the cause, implementing a realistic individualized treatment plan.
